Google Chromebook Pixel (2015), 12.9 inch, 1500 grams (3.31 lbs) The new Google Chromebook Pixel 2015 comes in the same size and weight as the older one we know. It comes with different CPU options: Intel Pentium 977 being the lower end and Intel Core i3 being the higher end option. With 4GB of RAM and 320GB of Storage (HDD) it serves well enough for most purposes we encounter. One special thing we like is the upgradability that comes with this laptop. One can change storage, add RAM to the second memory bank or replace broken parts with ease. Sony T11 (SV-T1111M1ES), 11.6 inch, 1420 grams (3.13 lbs) The Sony T11 is a budget Ultrabook at a price point of 699€ starting to sell at the end of May 2012. It is based on the Sandy Bridge Platform which is unsurprisingly at that price point. The Sony T11 has some nice features like a 500GB Hybrid HDD, Gigabit ethernet and Bluetooth 4.0 + HS. | |||
